At Our Lady of Fatima School, we believe in using technology as a powerful tool to enhance teaching and learning, while maintaining a balanced and purposeful approach. Digital devices are integrated into classroom programs to support creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, always guided by clear learning intentions and age-appropriate use.

iPad Access Across Year Levels

Our technology program is carefully structured to meet the developmental needs of students. In Kindergarten to Year One, small banks of iPads are available to support early learning experiences. In Years Two and Three, students have access to iPads at a one-to-two ratio, allowing for regular, supported use. From Years Four to Six, students use iPads in a one-to-one ratio, providing consistent access to digital tools that enhance their learning. All iPads are leased by the school, remain on-site, and do not go home, ensuring safe and managed use.

Digital Skills and Cybersafety

We explicitly teach students how to use technology responsibly and effectively. Lessons include digital literacy, safe online behaviours, and respectful communication. Cybersafety is a key focus across all year levels, helping students understand how to navigate the digital world with confidence and care. Our goal is to empower students to become responsible digital citizens while supporting their learning in meaningful ways.
